Why This Must Be Read: Quinn's fics are classics in the fandom. Alas, they are only accessible through the Wayback Machine now. This is one of my favorites. Daniel is injured on a mission away from his team, and although Daniel makes a new life for himself within the SGC, Jack is the one having difficulty dealing with things. I love the Daniel in this fic--he's tough and isn't going to back down from confronting Jack about Jack's insecurities. We even get a bonus look at "our" SG-1. There is a sequel that can be found called Daydreams and Nightmares.
