Why this must be read: The story begins with a retired John Sheppard who never went to Atlantis in the first place. Rodney McKay and Ronon Dex show up to bring John Sheppard back to Atlantis so he can further open up Atlantis. The story is written so well that you can feel what the characters are going through and how the relationship between Evan and John develop.
