Late to the party but still bearing gifts, I come to you this holiday weekend with the rarely recced pairing of Daniel/Sha’re (or if you prefer, Sha’uri). Oddly, while this was the first canon pairing, there are not nearly as many stories involving actual interaction between the two as you’d think. Why This Must Be Read:  Before Ra came, before the uprising, before Jack walked back through the gate, Daniel went to a chamber with his gift bride and saw the room of hieroglyphs. The writings on the wall mean vastly different things to both of them, and traycer_ cleverly meshes their separate interpretations with movie canon. Read, enjoy, feed the author!
