Why This Must Be Read: Great storytelling. This goes off the beaten path but in a most wonderful way. SG-1 is solidly SG-1, you're introduced to a whole new world and a whole lot of newly endearing characters. The love between our boys is quiet and unassuming, it threads through the plot quite beautifully - it is and it isn't the focus of the series. This is an absolute must read. Nice and long, good for a proper sit down if you want to bite into something epic. If you love this pairing and fully flushed out stories, this is the series for you. Please go read and enjoy, you won't regret it. :)

Brilliant, sweet, vulnerable, adorable, lovable, entirely too perfect Daniel, 
Wise-cracking, sharp, possessive, jealous, weirdly romantic, completely lovable Jack,
Strong, protective, funny, wise Teal'c,
Supportive, playful, smart, big-sis Sam ...
Protective, grandfatherly General ...
I laughed, I cried, I giggled, I awwwwwed (I wish I could say more w/o giving too much away, but some of the cutest most adorable Daniel-Jack, Daniel-Teal'c, Daniel-everyone else moments I've ever read) ... So much story, but so much of everything else as well. Jack ... he *really* loves Daniel, and Daniel seems so young, but so old and wise, and Sam and Teal'c are more family than supporting cast members, as they can sometimes come across, even in some of my favourite fics. Everyone and their relationships to each other is so essential ... but at the center there is always Jack and Daniel, and the rest of SG1. This is a very special gem of a series. You will be truly missing out if you pass this by.
