Why this must be read:

It's hard to find an author besides Fig Newton who does humor quite as well. This little beauty is just another example of why. I loved her use of parody to make fun of all the wacky misadventures SG1 find themselves in and the utter overconfidence/stupidity of the Goa'uld. When I got to the MWHAHAHA part, I knew to buckle my seat 'cause the rest of the fic was going to make me fall out of my chair!! Sam and Daniel try to rescue Teal'c and Jack; they get captured and now have to listen to the meanderings of a Goa'uld who went to evil Overlord school. However, SG1 always have a plan. Go enjoy!

Story Summary: A Goa'uld thinks he has created the inescapable trap. He really ought to know better.

By that time, their captor had restored the force field, leaving them trapped. He strutted over to the edge of his trap and gloated down at them in all his over-dressed glory.

"Nice one," Jack drawled as he squinted up at the Goa'uld standing at the edge of the pit.

"Mwa ha ha!" the Goa'uld chortled, rubbing ring-encrusted hands together with glee. "Finally, I have the infamous SG-1 at my mercy!"

"Mwa ha ha?" Daniel mouthed incredulously at Sam, who only shrugged her own disbelief.

"I have created an inescapable trap," the Goa'uld sneered. "You will never escape me! There is no way you can break free!"

"Do tell," Jack called back, deliberately using his most offensive tone.
