Why this must be read: It’s a general introduction of what is possible on an Ancient ship and has a great sense of discovery about some of the characters and the ship.
Quite a bit of world building in such a short story. I wouldn't mind some of these inventive mundane items in my own little apartment myself. Especially the self cleaning items.

I haven’t seen Season 2 yet, so these next 4 maybe 5 recs will be basically concerned with some introductory explorations of possibilities. But no spoilers for Season 2.
I will also try to rec as much variety as I can find in these stories.
