Why this must be read: It is a short drabble about Jack's mom happy to find out that his son has found someone special to bring home for Christmas to only have a small surprise. Even though it is short, it gets the point across very well.

Hi there! I'm the SG-1 Memories volunteer for the comm and wanted to double-check on your Rec Category for this rec. It's Jack/Daniel, I believe? I ask because of the conflict of listing the genre as Gen, rather than Slash. Want to make sure it's going in the right Memories category! Thanks. :-)

Yes, the reccing category is Jack/Daniel. I listed it as Gen for the genre because there wasn't really any slash (slash tends to referred to the intimate moments, etc). If you want me to change it to slash, I can. Just let me know.

Yes, please. For the purposes of this comm, if there's a pairing (either Slash or Het), the story is not Gen. Slash covers pre-Slash, too. Thanks! I'll get the rec into Memories right away. :-)
