Why This Must Be Read: Even if (like me) you know next to nothing about SGA, you will love this story of John Sheppard, stranded and lost on his own home planet... and taken in hand by SG-1.

This is set during The Return and showcases lovely teamy goodness (both SG-1 and SGA) as well as interesting insights into each member of the team and what roles they play in one another's lives. Thoughtful reading that feels just right!


They all turn to smile at him, except for Teal'c who doesn't smile so much as look pleased. John isn't really sure how to feel about the fact that he seems to have been unofficially adopted by SG-1.

It's such a sweet fic, equally accessible to both SGA fans and SG-1 fans. I'm not surprised it's gotten 4 pages' worth of comments, but if even one new person discovers this lovely story through the rec, it's definitely worth it. :)
