Why this must be read: What would have happened if Sam fled Stargate Command, with Jolinar, instead of being killed by the Ashrak?
I have always loved stories where Jolinar survives. This fic does a wonderful job of describing first the early time when Jolinar has just taken Sam as her host - and needs to convince her to trust a symbiote - over their slowly building friendship and trust, all the way to Sam's acceptance of Jolinar.
During the time the get to know each other, many things happen, and we get to see the Tok'ra society more from the inside.
Another interesting thing in the story is to see SGC and SG-1's reaction to the Tok'ra, and their interactions, now with Sam being 'on the other side' with the Tok'ra, instead of with the Tau'ri.
