Why this must be read: "If we don't come back, you have to get them in the jumpers." But still, she waited as long as she could.
I debated over which offriendshipper 's fics to rec, since she has several wonderful Teyla fics. I kept coming back to this one though. It's an AU take on Lifeline from Teyla's perspective, and for some reason the bittersweetness of it appeals to me. There is sadness, but also hope, and I love Teyla's need to save something of each of her friends, even as she knows it is impractical.
