To Serve and Protect
Firstly, this is my first rec. So, I am nervous.
Secondly, I love crossovers and SG1 is very open to the whole, crossovery thing. And I love BTVS, and this crossover combo is popular, much?
Why this must be read:
Instant classic.
A sort of hard headed companion to quite a few great stories that have the Scoobies and Our Team of SG1(in varying incarnations) getting along or not—this to me, boils down one of the scenarios that would really happen. The Scoobies and Our Team of SG1 have things in common…yes…but there are some truly deep sources of conflict, and this reveals one in a very realistic way.
When two highly intelligent leaders meet, each with their different backgrounds and missions, sometimes the meeting might go like this.
It’s really good! Read it!
(edited for format -hope I got this right-I put BTVS in parenthesis after Giles--is this right?)
