Cat's Eyes

One thing about Tasha's Highlander fic that I should probably warn everyone about right upfront (since this is a HL crossover) is that Richie Ryan is *always* vital to the story, which in the case of this story means it's Denial-fic (fic in which the character did not die in "Archangel"). Now, for me that's never a problem because Richie's my favorite HL character--it's one reason I love her fic--but I know that's not a universal sentiment. But just because it's obvious in her fic how much she loves him, it doesn't mean she doesn't do the other characters justice too--Methos, everyone at the SGC, even Duncan has a brief cameo. And while the device of Daniel calling Methos in to translate something that even he can't decipher is not uncommon, where the story goes from there is not only unique but captivating. She has some truly fascinating ideas about the Goa'uld, Immortals, and what might happen if they ever met, and the specific Goa'uld who appear in the story are fantastic villains. It was nominated for "Best Gen Crossover" at the 2002 Stargate fanfic awards, and it's easy to see why!
