Why This Must Be Read:
Among the many fandom cliches you'll find while reading fics in the Stargate universe one that always pops up eventually is characters being inadvertently connected by telepathy due to some outside interference. Whether the outside interference is some device, a ritual, or some alien race they've all been done. The SGA side of the fandom has already had a few of these crop up. This one is by far my favorite.
It's pretty much sex free, but I love the banter between John and Rodney. To me a good SGA fic is always one that shows the growing friendship between these two men. It's practically my kink in this fandom. This fic highlights that well. The mental connection the two have in the fic serves to help things along. (Though at times it's just a pain in the ass. As such a thing could be.) I think the author shows how their friendship could be growing into more quite well. It's an enjoyable read. Give it a try.
