Show: Stargate Atlantis
Rec Category: McKay/Sheppard/Beckett
Characters: Rodney McKay, John Sheppard, Carson Beckett, Elizabeth Weir
Pairing: McKay/Beckett, McKay/Sheppard/Beckett
Het/Slash/Gen: Slash
Warning: Spoilers for The Siege II and III
Link:No Greater Love
Why this must be read: This is one of the most beautiful canon (mostly) interpretations of McKay/Sheppard/Beckett. Based on the premise that the three men have an established relationship at the time of The Siege and that John takes out the first jumper (canon) and Carson is called upon to take out a second (not so canon) and Rodney is left behind (very temporarily, of course.) Explores both the immediate aftermath of The Siege II and III and the story of how their relationship came to pass in perfect and quite believable detail. Glimpses into the minds of all three men's reactions to the event and an excellent characterization of Elizabeth make this an absolute must read.
