Why this must be read:

Searching through my memories for an appropriate (and not already offered) rec, I was amused to see this tagged as HOT. Not because it isn't - it most definitely has the shivery, heart-thumpy thing going for it - but nothing actually happens. Light without being fluffy, fun and with a side of team-y goodness, this always makes me smile. It doen't hurt that there are so many wonderfully descriptive turns of phrase, I had a very difficult time figuring out which one to "snip". The usual suspects are out celebrating with Cassie (who's always a joy to see included) and "step" off the beaten path.

"And maybe Jack should have thought this through a little better before getting himself into this... because it was so sweet, so good to feel that solid muscle under his hands, and to move and turn like this. Daniel’s grip was strong and dry and firm. He knew how big Daniel’s hands were, but his touch was intense, not ignorable.
