Why this must be read:

In my humble opinion, "cause it's Paian" would be reason enough. A prolific and talented scribe, she has a host of older fic I'd need two months to rec, but in the interest of those of us who happily await the postings in ficrec for something we may never have seen before, I thought I'd start with something new(ish). This comes with an angst tag from the author, and while I agree, I also must mention the hot, the Paul Davis POV (and what a), the glimpses of humor and the new take on an old premise (the telepathy trope). Minute details that are delicious without being wordy and technical musings that seem plausible without breaking your brain make this an enjoyable and totally involving read.

Basically, caught between the love of one and desire for the other, Paul sees more than anybody bargains for... (this is a significant understatement.)
