Why this must be read:

Oh where to start with the praise for this series.... This set of five stories follows parts of Daniel's early childhood with Claire and Melbourne in Egypt and Greece. We get to see the absolutely loving family that Daniel was a part of before the tragic events of The Gatekeeper episode. And let me tell you, after reading this series, you'll never be able to watch that episode again and not feel such sadness for Daniel. I love how Debi wrote the love and devotion the Jacksons had for each other. As the author says, the foundation for Daniel's loving and compassionate adult nature had to come from somewhere. Throughout this series, we get to see the love and devotion Claire and Melbourne feel for their son. And Debi writes such a sweet and innocent child Daniel. If you want to see a glimpse of the wonderfully loving environment that Daniel spent his early years in, definitely give this series a read.
