I plan on locking up the comm

I know it's nice to have a free Recer comm. But it's not really fair to those categories that are in the minority. Poor Daniel/Jones recers are going to get lost in the 10 Daniel/Jack recers. I'm really just trying to be fair. If it doesn't work out. I guess I'll go back to the open Comm.

Each person can apply for 3 of the rec categories I'm going to allow here.

The three are

Pairings:

Genre:

Character:

Now if you are the Sam/Jack recer you can rec H/C because you are the Sam/Jack recer.

Now the H/C recer can rec ANY kind of pairing they want if they want one at all.

And the Character now that's a hard one. It must FOCUS on your Character. Like a Daniel Central fic

I am LOCKING up the comm in 2 weeks.

I need Apps people!!! I only have one right now.

I need your LJ name so I can give you posting access when the comm is all locked up and what you want.

The more people we have the more Recers we will get.

I'll post what has been taken as soon as I start getting apps

I have no idea what you are talking about, but count me in anyway. Not for the Sam/Jack though (*cough*). Anything slashy is fine, I really don't care. I've got more recs on my list than I can ever rec in my own LJ, so I'm sure I'll find something for every category.
Now, explain to my slowly how this thing works... ;-)

We have yet to get an App for Jack/Daniel

I think the only confusing thing is, I'm going to make it so only the Reccers can post, that way poor Jonas/Daniel will have someone there to represent them. Same with Jack/Sam or Jack/Daniel

This sounds less confusing. So how long will this reccing last? Because I would like to be the J/D reccer, but my time is limited. And I also doubt that people want to hear what I am reccing all the time.

Yes I'm sorry that is what it means. Right now until 27th it's a free Reccing comm, which means in that time you can post what ever you like.

But you can apply to be a reccer anyone can.

I'm trying to be fair and the only way I can think of is having reccers.

You could contact one of the Reccers and have them read the story. If they like it enough to rec it for their category, I bet they'd give you the credit.

Yep you can have him. The comm will be locked on the 27th so only reccers can post, you can start reccing now or later it's up to you

That's mostly what I read, and I read almost all of it that's written, so as long as you don't mind my potential absences from the internet (I'm sick and sometimes have to take time off) I could probably manage that for you. :)

Because I was just thinking that I'd like to do crossover recs next month. I think I know enough good ones to have two per week. So, if you'll have me again... :-)

I guess my main query is to ask:

You've limited the categories to one reccer per category, but I still note that the rec list is swamped in Daniel-centric stories, or Daniel/X pairings. Is there any plans to limit the number of recs permitted per reccer?

Otherwise, reccer A could pimp 10 fics, while reccer B pimps 2, resulting in a swamp of fic for the category being pimped by reccer A.

Alright see, the problem I'm having right now, it some people who are reccers are NOT reccing... Daniel people seem a tad gung-ho…If I limit the amount of reccs the comm will die.

Sadly the list is swamped with Daniel because people seem to really like him.

Also Reccer A will have to change in a month so the categories that reccer had might just die down.
