Why This Must Be Read: It was on a beautiful world, populated by beautiful people, where John Sheppard died. Fortunately for him, Rodney refused to let him go. With an opening like that, you might expect h/c ahead, and you might be right. *g* A mission gone wrong leaves Sheppard suffering from massive migraines, and Rodney as his somewhat unwilling caretaker. Despite the potential for OOC sappiness, the boys remain their usual snarky selves; if you're in the mood for a bit of h/c, this story is a sweet and enjoyable look at their friendship.

I second this rec, one of my favorites. The voices are just right and it has the perfect amount of h/c without veering into syrup territory.
