Why This Must Be Read: I'm a sucker for Sam whump, so this story grabbed me right from the beginning... and then it kept me reading to the end. I don't go out of my way looking for Sam/Jack-stranded-alone-on-alien-planet romances (and I start far more than I finish), but this one had a unique plot device (the title is a hint), a fairly fast pace, and enough interesting character interaction that I had to find out how it ended. If you like Sam/Jack survival stories, it's worth checking out.
