Why This Must Be Read: This is a story told from the POV of Mark, Sam's brother. The focus actually isn't on Sam/Martouf/Lantash most of the time, but they are a couple and Mark has met Martouf/Lantash (though he doesn't know they are aliens). There are many funny moments when Mark is captured by the Goa'uld who thinks he must have some knowledge - his sister works for the SGC flag team and his dad and sister's boyfriend are Tok'ra. Slowly he - very disbelievingly at first - learns about the world out there, with Goa'uld, Tok'ra, and other aliens. The story is quite different from others I have read, but I like it very much.
