Why This Must Be Read: In this story Jack and Malek are both imprisoned by Osiris and they have to help each other in order to survive and escape. Neither are very fond of the other, but slowly they start to trust each other and become friends. It is wonderful to read a story in which Jack actually becomes friends with a Tok'ra. There are many small funny moments, even though the story is otherwise serious. There is also a very interesting description about a Goa'uld planet and the daily lives of the ordinary Goa'uld who live their ordinary lives there. All together - a very different story and one of the best about Jack and the Tok'ra.
