Why This Must be Read:

Let me first start off by saying that bluflamingo writes some of the best Stargate fanfiction out there, slash or gen, but her slash stories, particularly the John/Cam stuff, are top notch. When I found out I was reccing for John/Cam I knew I had to pic one of her stories so I read them all again and narrowed it down to a few, but in the End I decided on this one as my favorite.

First of all I love alternate universes, so that was a bonus. The way that Cam is so depressed and longing for his own universe is handled wonderfully, without being melodramatic. Also John is amazing, he's much more mellow and affectionate but he's very much the same John, and I love how John very quickly becomes the sole reason of Cam's existence.
