Why This Must Be Read:
I should admit to loving AUs. Also, is it wrong to admit I have a thing for Jack the fireman? This is a nice short meet up between two slightly different versions of the guys. I was especially interested in the idea of Daniel's profession. It works well with the kind of man Daniel is. I warned about the dancing right?


"What do you do for a living?"

And there was the inevitable question. "I'm a psychologist," Daniel answered and waited to see how Jack would react. Very often people weren't too thrilled to meet a shrink. It made them feel uncomfortable. As if he would analyze them constantly which was nonsense, obviously.

"God, I'm such an idiot! Of course! You're Doctor Jackson, right?" Jack straightened his spine and soundly smacked his forehead with the flat of his hand.

I read this ages ago when you posted it on Pepe's list and it's always been a favourite of mine. I saved it of course, then last month when I was thinking of what to rec I was in a panic over if it was archived anywhere. Thankfully I found it.
