Why This Must Be Read:

This is Cam at the very beginning of being with SG1, trying to figure out being the leader, working for Landry, working with Sam, and most of all, his relationship with Daniel.

Cam in this seems like what he really needs is a really good friend – dirty-diana writes all the stuff we never saw on screen, how much he’s floundering in this new place and needs someone to steady him, even with a team of people. It’s a story about Cam and Daniel’s developing relationship, but it’s also a story about everything else that Cam’s about right then, from the Ori to being a leader to how being something other than straight is going to work at the SGC.
