Why this must be read: Have you heard of comfort food? How about comfort fics? Savior is a story I read regularly, whenever I need a pick-me-up. I finish it and sigh in satisfaction. Daniel wakes up in a cell, injured and without his memory. The stranger with him becomes his savior, providing him both comfort and care.

Excerpt:

 

"How's the head?" He waves a hand in my direction.

"Is it still attached to my body?"

"Yeah. Sorta. The neck's kinda useful that way."

"Damn. I was hoping you could have exchanged it for a model that doesn't come with a migraine."

He winces a little, his look compassionate. I wonder then if he's ever experienced this kind of pain.

"So, who are you anyway?"

He smiles. "You asked me that already."

"Jack," I reply.

"Colonel Jack O'Neill, of SG-1."

"Should I know you?"

Actually it would be better if you would, please, remove all of the size formatting you included in your post, so that people looking at their friend list could read this correctly.
