Why This Must Be Read: Ronon and Rodney are imprisoned together and tortured, learning a lot about each other in the process. It's a classic h/c scenario, rendered here in a way that is more dark and shocking than voyeuristic, but the warmth between Ronon and Rodney, two very different men in a desperate situation, forms a steady thread throughout their imprisonment and after their rescue.
