Why This Must Be Read: A Matter of Trust is a short "Condemned" tag from the unlikely perspective of Lorne. He comes to understand McKay, Sheppard and life on Atlantis a little better as he listens to the debriefing after their misadventure. The author does a nice and even-handed job of showing us how his opinion of McKay changes and why without falling into the popular trap of demonizing or lionizing either he or Rodney. I like that his reasoning stays in character, sensible and good-humored to the end.
