Why This Must Be Read: The SGC is celebrating in the aftermath of their victory in Homecoming, but Daniel - who still thinks of himself as "Arrom" half the time - isn't sure that he can live up to the expectations of being Daniel Jackson and a member of SG-1. Luckily, Teal'c is there to offer his presence and friendship in support to help Daniel realize that they all like him pretty much the way he is right now...

He looked away. "I'm not sure I can be who you remember. I'm not sure who I am anymore."

"You can only be who you are now. I expect no less."

"Don't you?" Now he was the one to give a piercing look. "Don't you want your old friend back? Not a man fumbling for who he is and what he's doing here?"

"I hope I am still honored with your friendship, but I do not expect it. I trust in who you were, who you are, who you will be."

He scoffed. "You have more faith in me than I do."

Teal'c bowed his head. "I am confident it is not misplaced."
