Why This Must Be Read: The SGC has gone public and as the world prepares for its first sight of aliens on Earth and the first Planetary Congress, Daniel, whose place within the SGC and its history has been usurped by Stephen Rayner, struggles to come to terms with what he's lost and with what he's never had - public recognition. The author deftly presents this character study of our Daniel, with pathos and humor and with the familiar support of SG-1 and Hammond, and, canon-like, reflects through a myriad of characters how young we are to the rest of the universe but how much promise we have, exhibited through Daniel.
Author's Summary: "Footnotes contain stories the world may never know."
