Why This Must Be Read: An excited Jinto announces an upcoming Anoch, the irregularly recurring massive Pegasus intragalactic rave, publicized from world to world by word-of-mouth. Once Teyla and Ronon explain the concept to John, he quickly cons Woolsey into letting the team go. Kanaan apparently is an Anoch-hater and stays home to babysit.
The evocativeness of the team's staggering return to Atlantis makes me wish I'd had an invite. I love that in this brief sketch Pdljmpr6 refuses to submit to the trope that Pegasus culture is only agricultural trade, death, hopelessness and treachery.
The image of Rodney as beer-pong champion? Priceless.
