Why This Must Be Read:
In this, the last of my Dec Gen recs (what do you mean, don't leave everything to the last minute?!), Daniel appears to be suffering time bending after-effects from Avatar.  It makes for an interesting read; Daniel's perception of what is happening around him causes him to react in confusing ways for the rest of his team.  As with all Travelling One's stories, the plot cracks along at a nice pace and the Jack & Daniel friendship is warm.

Daniel felt Jack tugging him towards a closed wormhole, realizing he much preferred to be functioning two seconds early than several seconds too late. Closing his eyes he allowed himself to be led through the gate, just as he heard it swoosh open.
