Hey, guys! I'm going to be reccing Teal'c goodness for you this month.

I'm starting with one that special to me, as it was written for my favorite holiday ever, St. Patrick's Day.

Why this must be read:

Why am I recommending this? Well, aside from the fact that it's written by an amazing author who once sold me on writing/reading fanfic for a show I'd never even watched before, and aside from the fact that's a story about my favorite holiday?

Aside form those factors... I'm recommending it because I never get enough of fics where Teal'c learns something new about Earth culture and customs. This, especially, is one of those wonderful "slice of life" type things that warm your heart. Plus, it's full of wit and good-humor and good friends. Azar's characterization is spot on, each voice uniquely belonging to the character.


My favorite line, has to be the very last...

"Ah." The Colonel nodded in mock solemnity. "So. Teal'c. You want to know the real reason for St. Patrick's Day?"

"Indeed, O'Neill."

Jack grinned and slapped the Jaffa on the back. "Beer, Teal'c. It's all about the beer."
