Why this must be read:
I love stories with a real sense of the absurd in them, and this story delivers. The opening scene is a first time, while the second scene reveals the brother relationship, and things just keep getting weirder as the story progresses. It's Rodney's POV, and the author has captured the humorous edge of his hysteria; it just rolls along, building steam the whole way through. And when Rodney gets infected with the Ancient Zombie Virus, it gets even absurd. It's a fun way to close out the month.
