Why This Must Be Read: This is a terrific story that fills in the blanks about Daniel's life in Chicago, and provides a great deal of insight into his prickly friendship with Stephen Raynor. I particularly like the fact that both 'pre-series' Daniel, and 'Season Four' Daniel appear in the same story, giving us a subtle, yet definative look at the ways he has changed, and the ways he remains the same. Stephen is fully aware of these differences and wonders exactly what his old friend and former co-worker is capable of, and might be involved in now. Highly recommended!
