This fic told from John’s POV has wonderful description and nice flashes of humor.  John's voice rings true for me throughout the fic and captures John’s personality perfectly. I love John’s internal monologue as he struggles between fully giving in to his desire for Teyla and his fears about what impact getting involved in an intimate relationship with Teyla can do to their working relationship and friendship. He’s a little lost about what it all means and it’s interesting to see that side of John explored.
