Why This Must Be Read:
I'm trying not to let my shippy tendencies affect these recs (also, I would rec solely Janet gen stories if only there were more of them), but this is really too good not to mention. Meridian fall-out from Janet's pov, painfully realistic, with flashbacks to the halting progression of a relationship through the trials of SG-1. The use of Gibran's The Prophet only adds to the ache of loss. Really good stories dealing with Meridian are hard to come by, but this is definitely one of them.
