Why This Must Be Read: This set of five things builds one upon another as we see Cameron through Teal'c's eyes and the start of their relationship from teammate to friend and the beginnings of something more between them. I absolutely adore it for this fact and I think others will too. Though each section isn't very long they give us some lovely details and insight into the characters.

Snippet:

1. Sparring in the gym.

They schedule every week in the gym for regular physical conditioning. Mitchell and Teal’c practice and exchange combat techniques and maneuvers, including those of the ancient Jaffa and the Sodan, plus some martial arts and traditional boxing. Mitchell winds up bruised and battered more often than not with his ego taking the brunt of the beatings, but it’s the Colonel’s relentless perseverance that initially catches Teal’c’s attention and later, his admiration.

Vala Mal Doran frequently and affectionately calls their sparring sessions “dates”. Mitchell rolls his eyes at her, but Teal’c says nothing.
