Why This Must Be Read: A good crossover is one that can be read and enjoyed even by fans who aren't familiar with the crossed-over fandom. In this case, Kalquessa gives us a very sick Daniel, watching and listening as a crisp Janet deals with a very talented and very arrogant doctor named House.  Janet is in truly delightful form, and it doesn't matter that I don't know anything about the House fandom (or even the show, outside the existence of said arrogant doctor). There's great banter and wit and sly digs galore - and if you're a House fan, I imagine you'll enjoy this even more than I did!

"I suppose the recent gunshot in his leg is a souvenir of Honduras, as well," said House.

"As a matter of fact, it is," Janet replied cheerfully.

"No doubt his recent run-in with a bullet is his reason for keeping a 9 mil in his suitcase when visiting the perilous territories of suburban Jersey."

"House, you tossed his hotel room?" Janet sounded less outraged than Daniel had expected.

"Oh please, Frasier, of course I didn't toss his hotel room. I have minions who do that kind of thing for me."

Oh yeah. She did a good job with House as well as Janet. I'd love to see a real run in with House and Jack O'Neill. I'm not sure who would win. Thanks for the rec.
