Why This Must Be Read:
This is an incredibly sweet first-time fic, with just a touch of angst. An anonymous e-mail Valentine exchange is set up on Atlantis, but the one Rodney receives upsets him instead of making him happy, since he knows it's not from the one person he'd like a Valentine from. The author strikes a very nice balance between humor, sweetness and angst, which is relatively rare in my experience. And, you know, if John and Rodney could actually discuss their feelings in a mature, adult manner, they wouldn't be the clueless boys we love, would they?
