Why This Must Be Read: Because they are pretty together. No? Okay, you need a better reason... Being serious, there is something about how both these characters handle crossing that line just really breaks me every time I read it. It's short but there is so much going on between them. Their relationship is complicated by hierarchy and regulations but there is so much want and need for each other that they eventually crack and thus we have this fic. The ending leaves so much emotion and uncertainty.
