Rec Category: Gen
Pairing: none
Category: SG-1/SGA crossover, McKay, Jackson
Warning: violence
Author on LJ:
saffronhouse
Author's Website: Good Morning, Sunshine
Link: The Shadow over Chatsworth
Why This Must Be Read: This would be a perfect rec if it were Halloween. This story gets scary—in a creepy/scary way—and has enough tension to get your heart pounding. The author gets Daniel and Rodney's voices and characters perfectly. We don't see them interacting all that much on SG-1 and SGA, but this is the way the characters would interact. She obviously has lots of affection for both these characters (and for both their virtues and their faults), and knows them well. The bad guys are really shiver-inducing and unforgettable.
(oh, and for you hurt/comfort folks, there's plenty of whumping.)
