Why This Must Be Read: I tend to be pigheaded in my reading. Very pigheaded. This is a sequel to Laying Open written by a different author. In my experience that's a strike against it. Then I thought, eh, I'll try it. Saw it was written in the second person - my least favorite narrative. But then one day, I had a Jack/Paul craving and had read everything out there, but this one. Very pleasantly surprised. The second person worked because it was like Paul examining himself under a magnifying glass. So, perfect compliment to Laying Open. Enjoy.
