Why This Must Be Read: This fic does a wonderful job getting into Radek's head and showing both his camaraderie with the other people in Atlantis and his alienation from romantic relationships. It's also a wonderful slow-build look at his relationship with Lorne. I'm not the kind of reader who normally gravitates toward romantic stories, but this one is played slow and subtle and really worked for me in a way that made me want to start 'shipping Radek and Lorne. Please beware of spoilers up through 3x12.
