Hi! I'm rache, aka
wickedwords, and I will be your McKay/Sheppard reccer for the month. I love shorter stories along with the occasional epic, clever dialog and fast pacing. I love world-building, whether it's an AU or a canon-based story. Simple little 'day in the life' stories thrill me, along with ones with multiple layers of plot. I have no theme for the month, so it's possible that a little bit of everything will show up. That said...

Why This Must Be Read: Inspired by the 2006 winter Olympics, this short AU (about 2K words) shines with guttural, realistic dialog. It's sharp and funny, with some really great detail to it. Plus the character voices really make the story.
