Why This Must Be Read: I must admit, this is one of my favorite pairings. It's rare to find an author that "gets it" though andwesleysgirl is one of the specials ones. Her voices are spot on, her writing easy to read and her stories captivating. Don't let the rating scare you. It sounds like this is a depressing piece but as with all good writing (and life) it's a perfect mix of humour and angst.
The story begins with Carson Beckett in Scotland, desperately trying to forget. He ends up on the small island of Mull (in the bloody middle of knowhere, as he quite rightly puts it) and is visited by John Sheppard. The story that follows is quite simply the romance between the two I picture.
