Why This Must Be Read:
This story makes me grin every time I read it. Zelenka's annoyance, his thoughts that "things like this never happened to him back in Prague", make me chuckle. Sheppard's surprise and good-natured humor at the situation seems very in-character, and Rodney's plotting behind his apparant lunacy is just a delight.
Excerpt:
"I'm a…" Radek huffed in annoyance, pushed his glasses up his nose and took a step closer towards Rodney, poking him in the chest. "You interrupted fellatio to show me environmental systems interface."
Rodney's grin was infuriating, and Radek felt what little patience he usually managed to maintain disappear. "Well, it wasn't as interesting for me as it was for you, now this…" Rodney gestured to the shower, "this is interesting."
"You are miserable little tease." Radek's gesture with his thumb and forefinger seemed to have a whole lot more affect now he'd seen Rodney naked. Rodney's expression changed from smug to slightly affronted.
Major Sheppard opened his mouth as if to defend Rodney's honour and then appeared to think better of it, settling on a smirk.
"How about if Ronon came along? I know he's more your type. If it's too complicated for you, you could just watch."
Radek hoped his failure to respond had more to do with trying not to strangle Rodney, rather than being slightly distracted by the thought of Ronan. Thankfully, Major Sheppard interrupted Rodney's enthusiastic nodding. "Oh, no, no, no. Ronon is new, you're not entangling him in your kinky scientific den of shower fixing iniquity."
