Title: Lost by Starblade
Fandom: STARGATE SG-1
Pairing: Jack/Paul
Author on LJ: [livejournal.com profile] epeeblade
Author Website: Currently Down I think.
Why this must be read:

Well, here I be, reccing my favorite little subversive slash pairing...Ahhh Jack/Paul...the revolution. *Grin* Since [livejournal.com profile] epeeblade previously recced this...this little gem didn't get to be included so I'm gonna gush now *G*l.

Paul, I once read someone say, is probably the most 'realistic' of the Air Force personnel we've seen thus far and that is true. For a reoccuring character, he (and his portrayer) have interjected a remarkable air of realism about him and given him some depth. Because of this, Paul is much beloved by fandom. But the Jack/Paul fans are the rebels of the bunch and are a blast. In this fic [livejournal.com profile] epeeblade shows us a peek inside a relationship between the two characters during the worst moment of their relationship. It's a missing scene for "Lost City Pt. 1" and gives us a Jack & Paul who are, they believe, spending what may be their last night together.

It is a compelling fic and I love the look at the two of them. It's worth the read. It, and it's sequel Lost & Found which is a post ep for Lost City Pt. 2. Lost, in and of itself, is a complete fic but Lost and Found is well worth continuing on to. I'm quite interested to see what [livejournal.com profile] epeeblade will do with what Season 8 gives us. All I know for sure is, given the level fo this fic, it'll be worth the wait.
