BDSM is such a touchy catagory to rec in. I love this story. I believe it's consensual though it appears it's not. Or is consensual by the skin of it's teeth. It has bondage and borders a bit on noncon. But that isn't why I love it.
I love Maayan's mind. How things about these two get whirled around and shown from not only a 180 angle but maybe from a different dimension as well. Both are shown to be damaged by the accumulated experiences they've suffered and there's a team element as well. Don't let the first bit put you off, it's all Jack and Daniel.
As to the writing? Well, it's a marvel. lyrical and angry at the same time. With blessedly little pointless exposition.

A bit more warning, if you don't like really aggresive Jack, you may want to cry off. I love aggressive Jack and this is pretty much as aggressive as I've seen him.
