Why This Must Be Read:

I am hard pressed to find a fic by the amazinghelskinkibaby that I don't love and adore. In fact, I'm convinced it's impossible. I didn't know she'd written a Janet/Jack fic until I stumbled across it one day whilst I was prowling her site looking for stuff to read. (Which, by the way, you will find a lot of good stuff at...yummy fic)

This is, easily, one of the best Janet/Jack fics I have ever read. It's Janet POV and it touches on something we've only gotten hints of in the show. The connection between Jack and Cassie. the fact that, for all intents and purposes, he's the closest thing to a father she's going to have on Earth. Using that as a base, helsinkibaby does an amazing job of building up a believable and wonderful connection between Jack and Janet.

The fic is wildly entertaining , wonderfully touching and the just downright wonderful way helskinkibaby writes these characters. It is a must read by all accounts.
